Paris is a city of the world. The French capital on both sides of the Seine, with its more than 30 bridges, is where the Night of St Bartholomew and the French Revolution took place. The city of love breathes history everywhere and yet is full of life and the present.
Paris simply has something for everyone: Climbing the Eiffel Tower? A visit to the world-famous Louvre? Or a stroll through the old quarter of Montmartre? All this and much more is possible in Paris! You may be wondering whether you should explore Paris on your own or take a guided tour. In principle, of course, both are possible. The advantage of a self-guided tour, however, is obvious: you can spend as much time as you like on each sight. With our city tours, you will definitely not miss any of the highlights - and still remain as flexible as possible!
Can you explore Paris on foot?
It's best to cover all the highlights with our Paris city tour - you'll be on the road for a few hours, but you won't miss any of the most important sights and you'll still have time for a visit to a museum or a short break in a café.
How do you get to the top of the Eiffel Tower?
A visit to the Eiffel Tower is, of course, part of a stay in Paris. The famous Parisian tower is very well visited at all times of the year - after all, it is one of the most popular sights in Europe. It is located near the Seine at the north-western end of the Champ de Mars and is hard to miss. It doesn't hurt to plan ahead, because a spontaneous visit could quickly land you in what feels like an endless queue. It's best to book your tickets online beforehand - that way they're also a bit cheaper!

Is sightseeing in Paris also possible by bus?
You can also discover Paris wonderfully in a hop on hop off bus. The sightseeing buses take you to all the famous sights such as the Eiffel Tower, the world-famous Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the Champs-Élysées, Notre Dame and the artists' quarter Montmartre. You should start your bus tour in good time and have a watch with you, because the operating times of the buses sometimes end quite early and at some stations it is no longer possible to board the bus an hour before the end of the operating time.
What is a must-see in Paris?
You'll find at least as much French lifestyle in a short time on a tour of Montmartre. In the middle of this very unique district with its cafés, bistros and small shops, you will find the basilica Sacré Coeur at the highest point of Paris, which you should definitely visit.
At least as much French life can be found in a short time during a tour of Montmartre.
If you have a little more than two hours, it's worth taking a walk through the beautiful Marais district north of the Île de la Cité. Here you can admire magnificent city palaces and the Place des Vosges, the most beautiful and oldest square in Paris.
