Bicycle tours in the Czech Republic

Part of Thuringia on the European Iron Curtain Trail EV-13. The route combines culture, history and tourism along the Green Belt.

Der „Eiserne Vorhang“ teilte Europa über 40 Jahre in Ost und West. Entlang des ehemaligen Grenzstreifens entstand deshalb der Europa-Radweg Nr. 13 (Iron Curtain Trail), der europäische Geschichte, Politik, Natur und Kultur erlebbar macht.

Die in seiner Gesamtheit etwa 500 Km lange Radroute Sächsische Mittelgebirgsroute verläuft abwechslungsreich von Plauen im Vogtland über das Elstergebirge, das Erzgebirge, die Sächsische Schweiz, das Lausitzer Bergland nach Zittau im Zittauer Gebirge. 

Der Elsterradweg führt ca. 250 km von der Quelle in der Nähe der tschechischen Stadt Aš bis zur Mündung der Weißen Elster in die Saale bei Halle in Sachsen- Anhalt. 

The long-distance cycle route through the Upper Palatinate Forest Nature Park and the Fichtelgebirge Mountains attracts visitors with its little-travelled paths and idyllic surroundings. Gently rolling forest hills, wild and romantic valleys and diverse towns accompany the circular tour with its start and finish in Bischofsgrön.

On the long-distance cycle route through the Bavarian Forest we have the opportunity to experience almost untouched nature on quiet forest paths. On the way from Blankenstein to Zwiesel we pass a variety of places of interest.

The cross-border long-distance cycle route leads through the Bavarian Forest and the Böhmerwald. The route runs largely on quiet and little-travelled side roads on which you can explore the national park regions.

Der Euregio Egrensis Radweg verbindet Tschechien mit den Bundesländern Sachsen, Thüringen und Bayern.
