The tour via the Laurenzi via ferrata is split into two days with an overnight stay at the Tierser Alpl hut. This mountain region of the Catinaccio/Rosengarten can still be described as the quiet side of the Dolomites. The Laurenzi via ferrata is one of the more difficult via ferratas in the Dolomites. Not only because two sections have a difficulty rating of D, but also because the ropes are only secured at the really exposed points. In some places, the crossing of the ridge is quite airy.
Lake Antermoia is a beautiful gem and the ascent of the Cima Scalieret, which is not difficult at all, gives us a view of the mighty Rosengarten massif with its rock faces reaching far up into the sky.
The descent through the Grasleiten valley to the Grasleiten hut, which has been perched above a gorge since 1887, is an experience in itself. It is not only the mighty rock faces that impress, but above all the location of the Grasleitenhütte. The hut itself is also worth a visit due to its beautiful interior (the parlours are made entirely of wood and there is an ancient free-standing tiled stove).
You should also visit the Nature Park House, which is located at the starting point.

On this round tour or traverse of the Latemar group on paths and trails and also via a via ferrata, you really get to know the beauty of this mountain range, which often lies in the shadow of the Rosengarten mountains. The Latemar group has two different faces: the north side is extremely rugged with fascinating rock peaks, rock needles, rock towers and rock faces that seem to grow endlessly into the sky and the south side has wide basins carved out by ice-age glaciers and the easily climbable mountain peaks above. The via ferrata, which is easy throughout, mostly leads over ledges, narrow paths and through gorges from the Forc. dei Campanilli to the Biv. E. Rigatti.
