Der obere Abschnitt (Gipfel-Todtnauer Hütte) ist sehr steil und nur etwas für geübte Rodler (präparierter Hang).
Ab der Todnauer Hütte kann auf dem Todtnauer Hüttenweg weiter gerodelt werden (geteerter und präparierter Wirtschaftsweg). Hier gibt es schöne Kurven bei leichtem Gefälle.
Achtung: Diese Strecke ist nicht immer befahrbar, nur weil der Feldberg weiß ist.
